The Story

Built By Us is a social enterprise championing equity, inclusion, and representation across the built environment sector. They support underrepresented professionals through mentoring, training, and talent development — helping organisations build fairer, more diverse workplaces.

With their services expanding and new training programmes launching in 2025, Built By Us needed a refreshed brochure to reflect their growing impact. The existing document lacked structure, clarity, and consistent tone. They wanted something that communicated their mission with warmth, professionalism, and confidence.

Lweno & Co led the content strategy and copywriting process from end to end. We conducted a full content audit, aligned messaging with the team, and rebuilt the brochure narrative — from core values to service descriptions. The final version was clear, accessible, and aligned to their voice, ready for design and publication.

The Result

The new brochure gives Built By Us a cohesive, polished way to present their work — from corporate partners to community stakeholders. It now reads as a confident reflection of who they are: purpose-led, professional, and grounded in action.

Reflection

This project deepened Lweno & Co’s role in supporting social impact organisations — showing how structure, tone, and storytelling can bring mission-driven ideas to life with clarity and warmth.
